Dust may settle,
After the storm,
Then leaves a bitter taste,
This dog will bite you,
Its in his form,
You know its so,
It sinks like a spade in the cold hard ground,
Frozen its winter now, and,
Lifts like the roots of that old worn tree,
That sheltered you and me,
Will you wait for me in this new world?
If I keep my head down,
And learn my lines,
Step into tomorrow,
You and me,
I can never be without you,
The river we live by is bold,
It twists and turns,
The landscape bows,
Its back can’t carry this load,
Then who am I to even try,
It sinks like a stone thrown hard and bound,
We all get lost,
Lifts like the roots of that old worn tree,
Sheltered you and me,
Will you wait for me in this new world?
If I keep my head down,
And learn my lines,
Step into tomorrow,
You and me,
I can never be without you.

this song reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to go to my friend's house to play with his Amiga 500 and almost every game before starting had one of these tunes immrshrike
An instrumental queer space opera from Portland synthwave artist Amie Waters, who uses a universal mythos to illustrate a personal journey. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 14, 2020
Jordan Vauvert
